The Association of Zimbabweans Based Abroad is an independent, nonpartisan organization registered in the state of Texas in 2002.  The mission of the association is to engage, prepare, and equip Zimbabweans  for the task of NATION BUILDING with special emphasis on public policy, governance, and education.

The mission will be accomplished through:

  • Rigorous and impartial evaluation of public policy
  • Publication and dissemination of research findings
  • Collaboration with other leading research studies, think tanks, and academic departments
  • Public policy forums, workshops, seminars, and conferences
  • Provide leaders with strategic insights and solutions to current and emerging issues
  • Serve as a bridge between citizenry and policymakers

GOVERNANCE

Board of Directors - Highest decision making body charged with mission and policy formulation.

Executive Committee - Responsible for implementing mission and policy.

Corporate Governance - The association adopted by-laws as a guide to the daily corporate operations
